It is within easy walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants as well some of the islands most popular pristine beaches. This rental home will provide you with expansive views from almost anywhere in the house and most certainly on the spacious roof-top "palapa" where you can lay in splendor in beautifully hand-crafted locally-made hammocks (some of the most gorgeous hammocks we’ve ever seen). The palapa is an ideal retreat for relaxing, stretching – shudder the thought; e-mailing? - or even better a yoga class with 4 highest quality yoga mats available for your practice with the Ocean as your backdrop. This home features a beautiful court yard with many native plants and a large working fountain along with a resident iguana or two. There are several open terraces, balconies, decks and patios to relish the Caribbean breezes and find your own special place on this very special island. At the rear of the home is a plunge pool – the perfect place to cool off - facing the sea with easy access to the rocky beach a few short steps away.
Decorated with colorful traditional Mexican and contemporary furniture, this lovely villa can be your vacation option for couples, sleeping 4 comfortably with 2 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Also available for children or teenagers are 3 self-inflating high quality air mattresses complete with linens. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a gas stove and all the accoutrements necessary for even the most demanding gourmet chef (including a set of Wusthof knives.)
Nearby attractions include Garrafon Park (including Dolphin Discovery), the Mayan Ruin at the South Point, the always-fascinating turtle sanctuary, a vibrant and entertaining downtown where you can find anything and everything to make your trip complete. Dive shops are located in town; some of the best the Caribbean has to offer and extremely reputable. Golf carts, motorized scooters, and bicycles are available at reasonable weekly rates to explore the island on your own terms and speed.
