Description: Casa Consuelo is a spacious home located at the southern end of Isla Mujeres. It has stunning aquamarine views of Cancun and a stretch of the Caribbean Sea locally called the Bay of Mujeres. Enjoy the outside living space on three large decks. The roof terrace is partly covered with a pergola. This deck affords nearly unobstructed views for 360 degrees and catches the breeze from all directions. The main terrace is covered with a palapas, leeward of the prevailing east winds, and is ideal for al fresco dining. Both terraces are great for watching the beautiful sunsets, and at night, Cancun becomes a string of pearls, shimmering against the water. The pool deck is very secluded and sheltered from most wind. This deck is paved with conchuela stone to provide a decorative, but a less slippery surface, and there is small palapas for shade.
The home is built in a modern Mexican style with large rooms and has been tastefully and artistically decorated. The views of the turquoise colored sea can be caught from everywhere in the house. The home’s private pool lends to your enjoyment as tropical breezes blow away your stress. A paved path leads to the back gate and a short walk to Maria’s Kinkan, which has a bar and a good restaurant. There is also a beach and dock for use by Marias’ customers. A slightly longer walk in the other direction takes you to Playa Indio, which also has a bar and a midafternoon buffet. The best snorkling on the island is about a kilometer south at Garrafon de Castilla. Admission is only 50 pesos, and food and beverages are available. Casa Consuelo is ready for you to enjoy!
